ANG

I'm Air National Guard and I have, on three separate occasions, attempted to speak to an active duty recruiter and all three of them refused to even discuss it with me (one of them was an Army recruiter). I suppose it's because they don't really get credit for it. Traditional Guardsmen get absolutely no respect and little pay to maintain the same standards that AD troops. It's BS. I highly recommend doing the minimal AD contract before going Guard or Reserve if that's what anyone reading this is considering. At least then you're actually considered a veteran.

testimony

miss evenly Dr.kokotemple, and friends, I wanted to give you an update on my situation. On jan 3 / 2012 I requested a binding love spell be cast on my boyfriend. His eyes roamed to any woman that passed us and it made me feel horrible. I am happy to report that a week after I requested the spell he proposed to me. We have been married for a year now, are expecting our first child in feb. 20013 and he no longer has eyes for any other woman. I was greatly impressed with the fast results and the personal attention I was shown during the casting and beyond.he is real a good spell caster email dr.kokotemple@gmail.com

Define active duty

I always hear that active duty directly to enlistment in another branch of service active duty is allowed since there is no break in service. I have active duty before but am now in the reserves drilling. If I finish my current 6 year active reserve term, can I be considered to join the full time Navy immediately as if there was no break in service? Or does that only apply to full time active Army to full time active Navy. I'd love to go from active army reserves to navy but I hear they do not take prior service and I do not know if I would be considered active or prior service in a cross service reenlistment.

Lies

It is not difficult to switch from reserves to active at all it may be a long process or a short one but if you want to go active they will let you go active before basic training and even after your training

TXARNG officer to AD Officer

I am about to go to Finance Officer BOLC and will be on title 32 orders for a little over three months. My wife will be going to basic trainin for AD a few weeks after I leave. I want to be able to go AD also. How does this process work for Officers who have a few years of service. Who do I go to?

NEW info as of 10/08/2012

For Army reserve to active Army here is the current process: 1. See AD recruiter and have them start DD368 (conditional release). 2. See your retention NCO for a retention counseling. (DA 4856) 3. Fill out a DA 4187 (request for personnel action) Your recruiter MIGHT help with this. 4. Write a Memorandum for conditional release stating why they should release you. 5. See your Commander for a Commander's counseling (DA 4856). Get CO's signature on 4187. 6. This entire packet must now go to Brigade level for approval. If approved: You take the 368 & 4187 back to AD recruiter and begin the process of enlistment to AD. Remember to bring ALL the paperwork with you that you had to when you first enlisted (birth cert., Driver's lic., etc. and remember you will need the same for any dependants plus marriage license if that applies. All origional. documents with raised seals. Then it's off to MEPS for you! I am going through this right now, So I can assure you this is the current process.

How to go from NG or AD to AD or NG

It is possible to leave NG or AD to switch over to reserves or AD. Thre's a form called Conditional Release. You have to talk to a recruiter about it. Basically, you branch will release you under the condition that you go somewhere else. You can go from AIRNG to Marines or any branch really. It's just simple paperwork. I'm in the process of going from ANG to AD

Prior Submariner to Active

I left active duty as in 2008 and am a submariner. I left as an E4. I am now a reservist where the MM rate is really hard to advance. It looks like submarine jobs are undermanned. Can I star enlist back in as an E5 to sub duty?
—Guest Carrasjm

Almost Impossible

I was AD AF, then went guard, but cannot go back to AD. I was told I can only do Security Forces (competitive) or join another branch. I find it really cold, that after serving honorably, and during wartime, that they will not even consider me back. This is an outrage!

Ad reserve to active duty army again

Process

The process of the dd 368 sucks. i have submitted 4 of them since i joined the army reserves. i finially got this last one approved after bugging my UA for 7 months to send it up to higher. it is a very long process and it doesnt really matter how much you do for your unit it matters how persistant you are. you have to show them that active duty is where you belong. the only downfall now if you want to go reserve to active duty 18x is the only option (special forces) so if you want to be apart of the infantry or special forces just be on your Unit Administrator to show how bad you want it.

Patriotism

I don't understand why it's so difficult for some who want to transfer from reserve to active. I had to start out reserve because I had to get waivers for debt and depedents. Since then I've completed my initial entry training just like every other soldier, paid off all of my debt, been in good standing with my unit, always volunteered and still cannot go active. Apparently because the Department of Defense is cutting the budget and people like me who really want to serve active duty even while being married and having three kids; I can't because some rich politician is too busy getting fat and filling his wallet....when this country is really in trouble and needs more soldiers like me, I will gladly be there....on my own account for my country, my family, and my battle buddies....not for politicians. I appreciate what I have and am willing to die for it; they're not. All that I ask for in return is that my family is provided for while I'm fighting. Is that too much to ask for?

Can I Go Active?

I recently joined the AFR, but i haven't left for basic training. I want to know if there is any possible way to transfer from Reserve to Active before basic training because i actually ended up with the short end of the stick by joining the reserves instead of joining Active Duty Air Force. Someone Please Help me out
