Am I Automatically Disqualified?
- I was charged with 1st Degree Robbery right after I turned 18 (I mention this because immaturity was a significant factor in my decision making that night). I had decided to try and steal a 12 pack of beer from a Kroger where I ended up getting caught by an employee at the entrance/exit of the store. He approached and confronted me about the beer so I panicked and set the beer down and attempted to run. Once outside I had tripped and fallen on pavement, the employee then jumped on top of me before I could get up. However, I was not convicted of robbery, the police charged me with it because the employee that had detained me (using unnecessary physical force while he had me pinned) until the police arrived had accused me of hitting him. Since I obviously wasn't robbing a store over a 12 pack, they amended the charge to theft. But am I automatically disqualified because of the initial charge? Or can I still apply for a waiver since I never went to trial for robbery, only for theft.

My incident
- When I was 15, a group of classmates including myself were arrested for allegedly stealing some money , we were brought in , finger printed and released .. I am 100% positive I was not charged with anything . But my arrest history may show a theft . It seems like I may require a waiver . Do u think it will get approved ? Had anyone been in. Similar situation ?

No waiver for Mary Parephenalia.
- I enlisted, went to meps concealing the information (honest-recruiters suggestion). I then realized that its a 100% chance that they would find the ticket, and came clean. I had to drive my own ass to MEPS to tell them, the recruiter refused to even try to get a waiver for me. Big ordeal, I got kicked out because the Air Force isnt currently taking waivers, or so says my recruiters boss. But seriously, posession of marijuahna or parephenalia is worse than assault? And Intoxication in public? Societys views of Marijuahna should change, alcohol is still a drug of more intensifying affects (including that on health). I hope to now enlist in the reserve, I just want a recruiter that looks at his/her applicants as more than some paperwork.
