Yuma is located in the extreme southwestern corner of Arizona, 21 miles north of the Mexican border. The county shares a common boundary with the state of California along the Colorado river. The city is midway between Phoenix and San Diego, a distance of about 175 miles. MCAS, Yuma is adjacent to Yuma International Airport on State Highway 280 just off Interstate 8.
If traveling to Yuma by car take I-8 (East or West) until you arrive at Yuma. Take Exit 3 (Avenue 3E) towards the base. From the off-ramp (I-8W) turn right at signal, go five (5) signals until you reach the Main Gate. From the off-ramp (I-8E) turn left at signal, go six (6) signals until you reach the Main Gate.
