Question: How do I transfer from the Reserves to Active Duty?
Answer: One cannot simply transfer between the National Guard and/or Reserve Forces to active duty. One must first get an approved "conditional release," which is basically a form that says if you are accepted for active duty, the Guard/Reserves agree to release you from the remainder of your commitment.
