Answer: Each of the military services are organized differently.
Most Army units are organized as Squads, Platoons, Companies, Battalions, Brigades, Divisions, Corps, and Army (See our Army Organization Page for more information).
Most Air Force units are organized as Sections. Flights, Squadrons, Groups, Wings, Numbered Air Force, Major Commands, Air Force. (See our Air Force Organization Page for more information).
Most Marine Corps units are organized as Teams, Squads, Platoons, Companies (or Batteries), Battalions, Regiments, Divisions, Marine Corps. (See our Marine Corps Organization Page for more information).
