Description:
Performs as team member in the COASTAL Minehunter (MHC) ship Combat Information Center (CIC). Executes exigent command and control functions such as determining ship's position, track and movement information (course, speed, set, drift, advance), relative position information of the ship to minefields, swept channels, and mine-like objects and actual position identification of mine-like objects using all available navigation and environmental sensors including sonar surface radar, and ships control displays.
