NEC Designation: NEC FC-1334 ATWCS Launch Control Group Replacement (LCGR) Operation and Maintenance Technician
Description: Operates the TOMAHAWK workstation consoles in the Advanced TOMAHAWK Weapon Control System (ATWCS) AN/SWG-4 (V) to receive and process Mission Data Updates, Launch Sequencing Plans, Tasking Messages and Over the Horizon-Targeting Data Base related messages.
Description (Con’t): Prepares Engagement Plans for overwater routes to fly missiles to preplanned land fall waypoints. Performs missile selection, monitors missile alignment and launch system status. Performs equipment monitoring, reconfiguration when casualty is experienced, fault isolation and repair of equipment utilizing system diagnostic software.
