Description:
The TTWCS O and M Technician operates the Advanced Tomahawk Display Console (ATDC) to receive and process Mission Data Updates, Launch Sequencing Plans, Tasking Messages and Over the Horizon-Targeting Data Base related messages; prepares Engagement Plans for overwater routes to fly missiles to preplanned land fall waypoints; performs missile selection, monitors missile alignment and launch system status;
Description (Con’t):
performs equipment monitoring, reconfiguration when casualty is experienced, fault isolation and repair of equipment utilizing system diagnostic software; performs Launch Platforms Mission Planning for Block III and Tactical Tomahawk missiles; performs and monitors post launch activities such as retargeting and mission flexing of missiles, receipt of enroute Battle Damage Indication Imagery (BDII) and health and status messages.
