Description: Operates and maintains, at the organizational level, Caterpillar D-399 diesel engines used for marine propulsion or generator service. Operates and maintains the ship's distilling plants, auxiliary boiler, and Controllable Pitch Propeller System (CCP). Operation of the Ship's Main Control Console is inclusive, covering basic operations and machinery controls.
