NEC 90CA GWOT Support Assignment-Civil Affairs/Provincial Reconstruction Team
Description:
Completion of training and experience as a member of the Civil Affairs and Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT). In support of the U.S. Army, these members work with civil authorities and civilian populations around the world to lessen the impact of military operations. PRT’s support activities of both conventional and special operations and are culturally orientated and linguistically capable of supporting the civil administration of affected areas.

They are capable of identifying critical requirements needed by local citizens in war and disaster situations. Efforts lead to increased local security, urban infrastructure growth and economic stability.
