Navy Reenlistment Bonus Charts

Enlisted members who reenlist in some jobs may be entitled to a monetary bonus. These rates are currently in effect, but are often changed, without notice, based upon the current needs of the particular military service.

Navy Active Duty Enlistment Bonuses

Like the other services, the Navy offers enlistment bonus incentives to encourage applicants to join.

United States Navy

Individuals who enlist in the United States Navy in designated short-age ratings (jobs) can receive a monetary enlistment bonus. Additionally, the Navy offers monetary bonuses for enlisted sailors who agree to re-enlist in "shortage" Ratings (jobs).

Navy Special Operations Officer Retention Bonus

The Chief of Naval Operations (CNL) has approved a Special Operations Critical Skills Retention Bonus (SPECOPS CSRB) for qualified Special Operations Officers. Qualified SPECOPS Officers will receive up to $75,000 to serve in post-EOD Officer-in-Charge detachment billets through their tenth year of commissioned service.

Enlisted Supervisor Retention Pay Program

Nuclear-trained Sailors with at least six years of service but no more than 10 can get as much as $65,000. Sailors eligible for the Enlisted Supervisor Retention Pay can get even more, up to $100,000 if they meet the requirements.
