The Combined Bachelor Housing has approximately 339 transient rooms for personnel on official travel orders, pay grades E-1 to O-10. Rates vary from $26 to $56 per day based on rank. Reservations can be made at any time prior to arrival. The main building (Bldg. 314) is located on 6th Street and can be reached at any time by calling 228-871-2505 or DSN 312-868-2502.
Pets are not allowed in Temporary Quarters however the Fleet and Family Support Center, your Command Sponsor or the internet can provide area boarding kennels.
The Navy Lodge is a 30 unit facility located on 1st Street. It includes free local telephone calls, highchairs, cribs, coffee, ice, daily newspapers, roll-away beds, furnished kitchenettes and cable TV. It is in walking distance of the NEX, beauty and barber shops, mini-mart, gas station and MWR Youth Center, bowling alley, bank, fitness center, McDonalds, and the Day Care Center.
All accommodations are air conditioned with private baths and family accommodations. The facility is all nonsmoking. Pets are not allowed. Operation hours are 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. After hours keys are to be picked up at the Quarterdeck in Building 1 on Marvin Shields Blvd.
