Naval Hospital Jacksonville 904-542-7300 / 904-542-3500 is a general medical and surgical hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient care. The hospital also has the Navy's largest Family Practice Training Program. A Branch Medical Clinic is also available on base 904-542-3500.

The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). Accreditation is a professional recognition for health care facilities that is an indicator of high-quality health care.

There are eight branch medical clinics under the administrative control of the hospital's Commanding Officer. Five are in Florida; NAS Cecil Field, NAS Jacksonville and NAVSTA Mayport, NTC Orlando and NAS Key West. Three are in Georgia; NAS Atlanta, Navy Supply Corps School Athens and the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany.

The hospital and branch clinics serve a beneficiary population of more than 200,000 people, of which more than 135,000 reside in North Florida. The hospital and branch clinics are in TRICARE Region Three.
