For the first time in more than four years, the Navys sea/shore rotation policy is being updated to better match the Navys billet base at sea and on shore. While dependent on specific rating/NEC, on average, sea tour lengths for E-5 to E-9 will increase from 47 months to 51 months, while shore tour lengths will increase from 34 to 36 months.
