2009 Military Travel-Related Pay Charts

The military pay charts linked below show pay and allowances that military personnel may be entitled to, when traveling for temporary duty or a change of assignment for the year 2009. Military members may be entitled to other pay and allowances, depending on the circumstances.

Travel-Related Pay

Dislocation Allowance
The Dislocation Allowance is designed to partially reimburse military members for moving a household.

CONUS Per Diem Rates
Military members who perform TDY (Temporary Duty) away from their normal duty stations are authorized to be reimbursed for additional expenses, such as lodging and meals. The military reimburses such expenses in the way of a daily "Per Diem" payment.

Overseas Per Diem Rates
Military members who perform TDY (Temporary Duty) away from their normal duty stations are authorized to be reimbursed for additional expenses, such as lodging and meals. The military reimburses such expenses in the way of a daily "Per Diem" payment.

PCS/TDY Mileage Travel Rates
Military members who travel on official duty can request a mileage reimbursement for their travel by "personally owned conveyance" (POC), in lieu of a government purchased airline ticket.
