|Marine Corps Order (MCO) 10120.61 --DRESS BLUE UNIFORMS PRESENTED TO RECRUIT HONOR GRADUATES|
Background. In 1989 the Marine Corps added dress blues to the initial clothing issue for all recruits. Previously, only honor graduates were awarded a set, of dress blues. Marine recruits will no longer receive acomplete set of dress blues in their sea bag issue. This Order reestablishes the policy of only the honor graduates receiving a gratuitous issue of dress blues.
