Special Bonus for Marines Who Reenlist During 2007
The Marines are offering a special bonus to all enlisted Marines, with less than 27 years of service who reenlist during Fiscal Year 2007.
Assignment Incentive Pay for Extensions While Deployed
The Marine Corps has authorized a program for payment of Assignment Incentive Pay (AIP) to Marines who, as a result of an involuntary extension of a unit deployment, agree to extend their enlistment or reenlistment to complete the deployment.
Marine Corps Reserve Enlistment Bonuses
The Marines are offering an enlistment bonus of $10,000 for individuals who enlist in the Marine Corps Reserves in specified Military Occupation Specialties during Fiscal Year 2008 (October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008).
Marine Corps Selected Reserves Reenlistment Bonus Program
The Marine Corps has announce a reenlistment bonus program and G.I. Bill "Kicker" for the Marine Corps Reserves for Fiscal Year 2008 (October 1 2007 to 30 September 2008). To qualify for either program, Marines must reenlist for a minimum of three years. Here are the specifics of the FY 2007 program:
Marine Corps Enlistment Bonus Program
Like the other services, the Marine Corps offers monetary incentives to enlist into MOSs (jobs) that the Marines consider to be "undermanned" in the initial enlistment categories.
Enlistment Bonus Program General Information
The Marine Corps Enlistment Bonus Program provides monetary enlistment incentives to attract highly qualified applicants into designated programs containing critically short MOSs, to fill those technical fields with high prerequisites, and to entice applicants to ship to recruit training during certain times of the year.
Re-Enlistment Bonuses
The Marine Corps offers monetary bonuses for enlisted Marines who agree to re-enlist in "shortage" MOSs (jobs). The amount of bonus depends on the "Multiplier" assigned to the MOS, the individual's rank, the member's time in service, and the number of years the individual re-enlists for.
