For More Information on the Fairfax, VA Area - - Take the opportunity to see the DC suburbs and the sights such as the Smithsonian’s new National Air and Space Annex as well as the Manassas Battlefield by staying in the quaint City of Fairfax. (Don’t be confused; there is a City of Fairfax and the county of Fairfax.) You won't be out of reach of anything thanks to DC's Metro. If you want to go into DC, there are convenient Metro stops in the City of Fairfax. (The Metro is quick, efficient, inexpensive and most important to me – safe.) For more information on the City of Fairfax accommodations call: 800.572.8666 or visit www.visitfairfax.com. Dulles Airport is the closest Airport and United Airlines is one the dominant airlines flying into Dulles.
