Definition: (DOD, NATO) 1. Partial--A skin tight suit which does not completely enclose the body but which is capable of exerting pressure on the major portion of the body in order to counteract an increased intrapulmonary oxygen pressure. 2. Full--A suit which completely encloses the body and which a gas pressure, sufficiently above ambient pressure for maintenance of function, may be sustained.
