Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial award of MOS. Imagery analysts must possess the following qualifications:

    (1) A physical demands rating, of medium.

    (2) A physical profile, of 222211.

    (3) Normal color vision.

    (4) Near vision correctable to approximately 14/14 (inches) standard Snellen, distance vision correctable to 20/20 (inches) stand ard Snellen and normal stereoscopic acuity, with or without correction.

    (5) Never been a member of the U.S. Peace Corps, except as specified in AR 614-200, chapter 1.

    (6) No information in military personnel, Provost Marshal, intel ligence, or medical record which would prevent the granting of a Security Clearance, under AR 380-67.

    (7) A minimum score, of 95 in aptitude area ST.

    (8) The soldier must meet TOP SECRET Security Clearance, and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access eligibility requirements.

    (9) The soldier must be a U.S. citizen.

      (a) Members of immediate family (spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, and children) must also be U.S. citizens. Soldier and mime diate family members can be naturalized citizens. If naturalized, there is no minimum residency requirements.

      (b) Soldier and spouse must not have immediate family members who reside in a country within whose boundaries physical or mental coercion is known to be common practice, either against-

        1.persons accused of or acting in the interest of United States or

        2. The relatives of such persons to whom they may be reasonably considered to be bound by ties of affection, kinship or obligation. Near relatives will also include uncles, aunts, grandparents, father-in-law, mother-in-law and relationships corresponding to any of the above persons inloco parentis (AR 630-5 and 37 USC 501).

    (10) Meet career management and development criteria contained in AR 614-200, AR 600-200.

    (11) Successfully completed (and be able to show proof of credit by official copy of transcript) 1 year of high school algebra or geometry.

    (12) A high school graduate or equivalent.

    (13) Formal training (completion of MOS 96D course under the auspices of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center) mandatory.

    (14) Have neither commercial nor vested interest in a country within whose boundaries physical or mental coercion is known to be a common practice against persons acting in the interest of the U.S. This requirement applies to the soldier's spouse as well.

    (15) No record of conviction by court-martial.

    (16) No record of conviction by a civil court ftinr any offense other than minor traffic violations.

    (17) Be advised that due to the nature of training and assign ments, temporary restrictions may be place on fbreign travel both during and after the term of service.
