94H - Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment Maintenance Support Specialist

Basic Job Description

The Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Support Specialist is an essential member of the Army precision instruments maintenance team. Performs and supervises sustainment level maintenance involving the calibration and repair of general purpose Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), selected special purpose TMDE, Radiation Detecting, Indicating, and Computing (RADIAC) equipment and accessories.

Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS include:

Operates and performs calibration and minor repair of general purpose test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment and unit and direct support and general support level maintenance on calibration standards and calibration accessories; operates and performs preventive maintenance checks and services on vehicles and power generators.

Operates and performs calibration and minor repair of selected special purpose test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment, team and laboratory calibration standards and calibrations accessories; performs calibration, maintenance and repair of Radiation Detecting, Indicating, and Computing (RADIAC) equipment.

33 weeks, 2 days, at Redstone Arsenal, AL

ASVAB Score Required: 110 in aptitude area EL
