Basic Job Description

The Medical Logistics Specialist is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, recording and issuing Army medical supplies.

Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS include:

Performs receipt, storage, issue, packing and shipping, care, inspection, quality control, segregation, inventory control, requisitioning, preservation, salvage, and destruction of medical supplies and equipment.

Performs receipt, packing and shipping, care, inspection, quality control, segregation, inventory control, requisitioning, storage, preservation, issue, salvage, destruction, repair parts management, distribution, supply management, property management and accounting of medical supplies and equipment.

Training Information

  • 5 weeks, 3 days, at Fort Sam Houston, TX

ASVAB Score Required: 95 in aptitude area CL

Security Clearance: None

Strength Requirement: medium

Physical Profile Requirement: 222332
