91F - Small Arms/Artillery Repairer

Basic Job Description

The small arms/artillery repairer performs direct support and general support maintenance and repairs on small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery.

Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS include:

Performs direct and general support maintenance on small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery.

Supervises lower grade soldiers and provides technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties. Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions of small arms and other infantry weapons, and towed artillery.

Training Information

5 weeks, 3 days, at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

ASVAB Score Required: 90 in aptitude area GM

Security Clearance: None

Strength Requirement: very heavy

Physical Profile Requirement: 222221
