Basic Job Description
Note: Effective October 1, 2009, this MOS will be available for active duty, only. It will not be available in the Army Reserves, or Army National Guard.
A Bradley Linebacker Crewmember is part of the Army's air defense artillery team. The BRADLEY linebacker crewmember supervises and operates the Line of Sight-Forward-Heavy vehicle and associated equipment.
Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS include:
Operates and performs preventive maintenance checks and services on the Line of Sight-Forward-Heavy vehicle. Operates communications equipment. Visually identifies threat and friendly aircraft and armored vehicles. Operates turret. Operates Line of Sight-Forward-Heavy weapon systems. Performs loading, unloading, preventive maintenance checks and services and corrective actions on the Line of Sight-Forward-Heavy weapon systems. Performs preventive maintenance checks and services on communications equipment. Nuclear, Biological and Chemical system, and turret.
Supervises lower grade soldiers and provides technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties. Performs gunner duties during target engagements. Assists squad leader in crew training. Supervises and assists crewmembers with preventive maintenance checks and services and loading and unloading all Line of Sight-Forward-Heavy weapon systems. Prepares range card. Collects and consolidates intelligence information. Plots fire unit position and early warning information on manual SHORAD Control System.

ASVAB Score Required: 90 in aptitude area OF
Security Clearance: Secret

- Normal color vision required
- Near and far visual acuity correctable to 20/20 with normal depth perception
- Must be US Citizen
