Job Description: The tactical data network gateway systems administrator will provide indepth tactical data network support to include, but not limited to, installing, configuring, and maintaining systems software, hardware, advanced LAN/WAN configuration, advanced communication planning, utilizing various tactical communication devices, and operating the Tactical Data Network Gateway. They will also execute network planning, network security plans, maintain patch panels, power entry panels, signal entry panels and the configuration of routers, switches, various encryption devices, and network monitoring software. This MOS will be assigned and voided only by the CMC (MM)
Job Requirements:
(1) Must possess MOS 0656 or MOS 0659.
(2) Complete the Tactical Data Network Gateway Systems Administrator Course, MCCES 29 Palms, CA.
(3) Active duty Marines must have two years of active duty upon completion of training.
(4) Must possess a secret security clearance.
(5) Must be a U.S. citizen.
