The Korean Service Medal is a bronze medallion 1 1/4 inches in diameter. In the center is a Korean gateway with the words "KOREAN SERVICE" surrounding. The Korean symbol from the center of the Korean National flag is displayed on the reverse side with the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and a spray of oak and a spray of laurel surrounding the design.
