Kuwait Liberation Medal Government of Kuwait

The Kuwait Liberation Medal Government of Kuwait is a Bronze medallion with enamel, 1 /16 inches in diameter suspended from a bar by a wreath. The Coat of Arms of the State of Kuwait is shown on the front of the medal. The Coat of Arms bears a shield of the flag design in color over a falcon with it’s wings outstretched. The falcon supports a disk with a sailing ship with the full name of the State displayed across the top of the disk. At the top of the medal is written “1991 LIBERATION MEDAL" in Arabic letters. ON the reverse side is a map of Kuwait on a rayed background.
