French Croix de Guerre

The French government may award the fourragére for a unit being mentioned twice in dispatches. The fourragére is not awarded automatically and does require a detailed decree of the French government. The fourragére is the same colors as the ribbon for the Croix de Guerre. If a unit is cited four times by the government, the fourragére colors are changed to that of The French Medaille Militaire.
