European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal

The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal is a bronze medallion of 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Shown on the front is a LST landing craft and troops landing under enemy fire. Shown in the background is an airplane below the words "EUROPEAN AFRICAN MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN". An American eagle is on the reverse side displayed perched upon a rock. To its left are the dates“1941 - 1945" and to its right the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".
