Army Enlistment and Re-Enlistment Bonuses

Critical Skills Retention Bonus

Senior enlisted active duty Army Soldiers (those with in the paygrade of E-6 and above), who hold skills that the Army considers "critical" may be authorized to receive a Critical Skills Retention Bonuses, up to $200,000 in exchange for re-enlisting, or extending their active duty enlistment contract.

Assignment Incentive Pay (AIP) for EOD Soldiers

The Army is offering Assignment Incentive Pay (AIP) for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Soldiers, ranging between $50 and $750 per month. This AIP program provides incentives for Soliders in the 89D (EOD) career field in order to stabilize EOD retention rates, attract additional recruits, and compensate service members for their special skills, experience, and responsibilities.
