Tuttle Army Health Clinic is located on Hunter Army Airfield serves active duty soldiers, their family members and retires and their family members. For care that can not be met at Tuttle Clinic, Winn Army Community Hospital (WACH) at Fort Stewart, is available.
Clinic appointments are available for the Outpatient Clinic, Family Practice Clinic, Pediatric Clinic, and referrals are done for specialty clinics.
Only children with an appointment for medical care are allowed in the clinics.
Dental care for active-duty military personnel is available, depending on the individual's unit of assignment. Dental care for family members at the DENTAC is on a limited basis only.
Under DoD regulations, family members of active-duty sponsors with two or more years remaining (one year if returning from OCONUS) on active duty are eligible for enrollment in the TRICARE Family Member Dental Plan and must receive their care through private sector dental offices.
Care at the DENTAC for those eligible is limited to "backup" emergency care in which a civilian provider has not been able to provide the necessary treatment. Family members not eligible for the insurance plan and their family members, have been authorized to receive emergency services and limited space-available care on a standby basis.
