Major Units Assigned:

Fort Belvoir is home to 9 different Army commands, 16 different DA agencies, 8 U.S.Army Reserve and Army National Guard elements and 9 DoD agencies. Fort Belvoir houses a U.S. Navy construction battalion, a Marine Corps detachment, a U.S. Air Force unit and an agency of the Department of Treasury. Army Materiel Command (AMC), the headquarters for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), Defense Contract Audit Agency, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Defense National Stockpile Center and Defense Fuel Supply Center are also located on Fort Belvoir.
