All children must be registered through the CYS Central Enrollment and Registration (CER) office to utilize the services.
The USAREUR CYS Fee Policy for the Child Development Center (CDC), School Age Services (SAS) and FCC programs are based on total family income and is at the lower end of the Department of the Army fee scale.
Respite cards for care are available for ten hours free child care a month for E-4 and below per child, and five free hours for School Age Services for all ranks. Make sure to get yours if you qualify. New cards must be obtained for each new month.
The Child Development Center offers child care programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, from 5:45 am until 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and American holidays.
The Child Development Center offers full-day, part-day and hourly programs.
School Age Services (SAS) offers before school, after school and hourly care for children in kindergarten through the fifth grade. Summer camp programs are offered during the summer months. Parents may sign up on a weekly basis for camp.
Family child care is the use of government quarters to provide adequate child care for working military and civilian families. This program gives parents the option of having their child(ren) in home-like settings. It is especially convenient for parents with irregular work schedules.
