The U.S. Army Health Center, Vicenza, serves a population of approximately 5,500 enrolled beneficiaries. Primary Care is available in the Vicenza Health Center for immediate and routine care. All enrolled beneficiaries with major medical illnesses or major surgical requirements will be referred to facilities in Landstuhl, Germany or other medical centers in the United States.
Medical services include: Active Duty Physical Examinations, Benincaso Mother & Infant Pavilion (child birth center), Community Health Nurse Educational & Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS), Immunization/Allergy Services, Internal Medicine Interpreter Services (Patient Liaison Coordinator Program), Laboratory Obstetric/Gynecology (outpatient) services, Occupational Healt,h Optometry, Pediatrics, Pharmac,y Physical Therapy/Orthopedics, Primary Care and Psychiatry.
