Soldiers in the grade of E7 and above must report to the Housing Office to in-process regardless of type of tour. At that time, depending on availability and type of tour,a housing decision will be made. Average waiting time is less than 30 days. Service members who are waiting for housing assignment on or off-post will be in a temporary lodging allowance status (TLA) to off-set the cost of lodging. Military members who are authorized to move off-post can expect to find housing within 10 days of reporting. A one month security deposit is normally required.

Family housing is comprised of 2 buildings with 48 3 and 4 bedroom units, ranging in size from 1,600 - 1,700 square feet. Each unit has a living/dining area, kitchen, storage room, laundry room, family room, bedrooms, 2 full baths, and plenty of closets and storage space. The units will be assigned to all grades of command sponsored families assigned to Area III.

Command Sponsored Field Grade Officers and SGM/CSM (E9) serving a command sponsored tour are eligible for on- post family housing in a 52 unit, mid-rise building, comprised of 2, 3 or 4 bedroom units ranging in size from 1,500 - 2,800 square feet. Each unit has a living/dining room, kitchen, family room, laundry room, bedrooms, 2 full baths, storage room, plenty of closets and storage space. The units are furnished and the service member (SM) is only authorized 1/4 of their JTR.

Command Sponsored and Joint Domicile families in the grades of E3-O3, W1-W3 must report to the Housing Office to in-process and complete the application process. Service member must request command sponsorship and complete the overseas screening process before command sponsored orders and dependent travel to economy quarters will be issued. SMs will be authorized overseas housing allowance along with a monthly utility allowance. Off-post rentals are very "western style" with 1.5 to 2 full baths, combination living/dining areas, bedrooms, and minimal storage. Most of the rentals are low-rise (3 stories) and typically have minimal parking. The units have 110 voltage and are equipped with air conditioning.

There are seven 3 bedroom town houses that are available to command sponsored or joint domicile families. SMs must request command sponsorship and complete the overseas screening process before command sponsored orders and dependent travel to leased housing is issued. SMs are only authorized 1/4 of their JTR and are advised to bring minimal personal property as the units are furnished.

Members in the grade of E7 and above serving an unaccompanied tour must in-process with the Housing Office and complete the application process. Depending on availability, SMs that can be housed within 60 days of reporting will live on-post. SMs who are authorized to move off-post will receive Overseas Housing Allowance in support of the off-post rental. Furniture and appliances are provided.
