Eielson AFB serves a population made up of over 6,900 active duty, guard and reserve, family members, civilians, contractors, and retirees.
The 354th Fighter Wing is the host unit at Eielson Air Force Base. Tenant Units include:168th Air Refueling Wing, Air National Guard Det. 460, Air Force Technical Applications Center Arctic Survival School, Det. 1, 66th Training Squadron Det. 632, Air Force Office of Special Investigations Det. 1, 210th Rescue Squadron Det. 25 and 372nd Training Squadron.
