Title: AIR FORCE PRIVACY ACT PROGRAM
Description: This instruction implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 37-1, Air Force Information Management (will convert to AFPD 33-3). It also implements Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 5400.11, DoD Privacy Program, December 13, 1999, and DoD 5400.11-R, Department of Defense Privacy Program, August 1983. It sets mandatory guidelines for collecting, safeguarding, maintaining, using, accessing, amending and disseminating personal information kept in systems of records to comply with the Privacy Act, Title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 552a.
