This instruction implements AFPD 36-21, Utilization and Classification of Air Force Military Personnel. It establishes responsibilities and procedures for screening and selecting career and nonprior service (NPS) airmen for the award of Air Force specialty code (AFSC) 1T011 and entry into course S-V81-A, SERE Training Instructor, and course S-V81-B, SERE Training Instructor Indoctrination.
