The center is approved for flight training and testing under the Federal Aviation Administration Part 61 and Part 141 which qualifies the training for use of Veterans Administration benefits. Flight and ground training through Air Transport Pilot (ATP) certification is also available.

The Aero Club teaches Private Pilot through Air Transport Pilot all of which are FAA part 141 certified courses. VA benefits apply on all licenses and ratings above Private Pilot. The minimum part 141 requirements to obtain a Private Pilot license are 20 hours dual instruction and 15 hours solo.

Kadena Aero Club Flight Training Center is located at Kadena AB , Okinawa , Japan , and has been providing a wide range training program over the past twenty years. Private through Flight Instructor training courses operate under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 61.
