Orlando - If a resort atmosphere, convenience to Disney and a moderately priced room peaks your interest in an Orlando destination, the Radisson Resort Parkway is the answer for members of the active duty and retired military traveling to Florida for sun and fun. Under the new Rank with Us military promotion, from October to December 26th, rooms are an amazing low $59 per night. Military ID is required at check-in.
Situated within the heart of Central Florida, less than two miles from Disney's Main Gate, the Radisson Resort Parkway offers guests the world-class vacation experience visitors to Orlando have come to expect. Outside of your room you'll also find enough to keep you busy, even if you never make it to a nearby theme park. Besides the swimming pools, there are two-lighted private tennis courts, a fitness center, volleyball court, children's playground and dry sauna. Amazingly, all amenities and equipment use is provided free of charge to guests. "All amenities are free to guests, from lighted tennis courts to the fitness center. From a value perspective, we provide quite a bit more than other resorts and hotels," Mezic added.
The resort would rank as Family Friendly as well as Military Friendly. Kids 18 and under stay free in their parent's room and there is the kids 10 and under eat free program in the resort's restaurant.
For guests at the Radisson Resort Parkway who do decide to take in the area theme parks, there is complimentary transportation to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida and Sea World, as well as nearby outlet shopping malls.
The military market is a very important to the Resort. "We market to military bases throughout the southeastern United States," said Patricia Orr, Director of Sales and Marketing. "We often have special rates for the military, but our current rate is the lowest it has ever been."
