U.S. Military Poll

The About.comUSS Greenville - Should the Captain be Charged?

In February, the U.S. Attack Submarine Greenville struck a Japanese fishing boat, killing nine people.

The Navy established a Court of Inquiry to investigate the incident.

Among other things, the Court of Inquiry can recommend criminal proceedings be initated against the Captain of the Greenville and/or members of the crew.

So far, it appears as if the Court is not impressed with the Sub Skipper's conduct & performance.

Do you think that criminal proceedings should be initiated against Cmdr. Scott D. Waddle, the Captain of the Greenville?
