The Gulf

The Gulf War was over 10 years ago (1990), yet United States Military Forces are still deployed there, and we continue to maintain a "no fly zone" in both southern and northern Iraq.

Within the past year, Saddam has rebuilt much of his anti-aircraft defensive capability, and is beginning to pose a real threat to our aircrew patrolling over the skies of Iraq. Many military experts feel that it's only a matter of time before Iraq "gets lucky" and shoots down an American aircraft.

What should our future military policy be toward Iraq? Is it time to pack up and go home, or should we continue our current policy?
