Bin Laden Says He Has Nukes: ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- Osama bin Laden, the alleged terrorist who has eluded five weeks of U.S. bombing, has surfaced at a hide-out in northern Afghanistan, where he gave his first interview since the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States. Bin Laden told Pakistani newspaper editor Hamid Mir on Thursday that he possessed chemical and nuclear weapons "as a deterrent" and reserved the right to use them against the United States if coalition forces used them first against Afghanistan.
