Military Returns Land in Guam to Families: FINEGAYAN — Some Guam families who lost land to the military during WWII are getting back property worth big bucks. Some 10,000 acres of excess military land has been returned to Guam since 1993, and about 2,000 more acres are in the return pipeline, officials said Monday. "All excess Navy land has been returned to Guam," spokesman Petty Officer 1st Class Bill Austin said.
