New Korea SOFA Creates Job Opportunities for Family Members: U.S. military family members living in South Korea will now be able to work off the post without losing their Status of Forces Agreement privileges. Under new guidelines for the SOFA, which took effect April 2, family members now can legally obtain employment off the post without surrendering SOFA status.
