No Americans to be Charged in Australian Sexual Assault: KADENA AIR BASE — Australian authorities will not charge any Kadena-based airmen for an alleged sexual assault that occurred during a party last month in Western Australia. "There have been no charges filed against any U.S. servicemember, and there has been no notification to U.S. authorities that any charges will be forthcoming," said Master Sgt. Michael Farris, spokesman for the 353rd Special Operations Group on Wednesday. The investigation is nearing completion and no charges are expected, Mark Gough, a spokesman for the Western Australia Police, confirmed Monday.
