Korean Orphans Given Taste of Holloween: KUNSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — Halloween came late this year to this isolated U.S. base on South Korea’s west coast. But that didn’t dampen the spirit and the fun when airmen introduced 38 kids from the Kae Chong Orphanage to the American holiday Saturday. “It’s hard to say who’s enjoying themselves more,” said Capt. Owen Morgan, 8th Fighter Wing executive officer. “Nearly all our people are here without their families, so having the kids here is a treat for them. Halloween isn’t observed in Korea, so it’s something new for the kids.”
