Navy Fires Head Coach: ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Winless Navy has fired head football coach Charlie Weatherbie, naming defensive coordinator Rick Lantz as the interim coach, the school announced Sunday. In six-plus seasons at the Naval Academy, Weatherbie had a record of 30-45, but the team had lost 17 of its last 18 games, and is 0-7 this season after Saturday's 21-20 loss at Toledo.
