It depicted a calendar, with a space for each day of October filled with the same two words: "Bomb something." But the targets have changed significantly in the 17 days since the attacks began Oct. 7, reflecting an increasing U.S. emphasis on supporting Northern Alliance forces battling the ruling Taliban militia. |
