A Sergeant was sitting at the PX, near the soda machine when a Captain walked up to purchase a soda.

The officer checked his pockets for change, he had none. Then opened his wallet for singles again he had none only a five.

He looked over at the Sergeant and asked " Hey Sarge do you have change for a five?".

The Sergeant replied "Sure Buddy".

The Captain looked at the NCO and said " OK Sergeant lets do this again. Do you have change for a five dollar bill?".

The Sergeant replied "No Sir".
